yikes, a mac post!

I don’t have an apple tv but I’ve pondered the idea. It leaves me just a little flat. 

I’ve been thinking that the Apple TV needs some help to make it great. 

The best addition would be an ipod dock. That’s right: sync your stuff via your pod (sneakernet is faster than wireless for sure in this case) plus your buddy could plug his in and you could enjoy their content while visiting. Obviously you wouldn’t magically get all of the foreign pod’s goodies but the feature would be good for get-togethers or sharing TV shows/movies.

The problem w/ above: where would the ugly dock go? The Steve would hate it.

Also: DVR - but that’s an entirely different bag of meatballs.
